Welcome! As a definitive introduction to our community, I will briefly touch upon almost every aspect of eVo. I guess it’s important to mention the basic premise of what we’re doing here. eVo is a video game community that attempts to establish an environment for good people to play games, post on forums, and generally be a part of a larger community. That may not be drastically unique these days but we try to offer something different.
Currently, eVo has a Day of Defeat: Source, Team Fortress 2, and Left 4 Dead server to play on. If you do happen to only play one, don’t feel too bad because this isn’t really about any one particular game. It’s really a combination of the games, the people, and the community at large. In establishing a reasonable and flexible base of rules and ideas, eVo and it’s members should be a reflection of that. Things can always be changed or fixed but I implore you to check them out and see for yourself.

Do you want a great place to meet cool people and play video games? Good, so do we. Ideally we want great people and great games to come together. By generally enforcing a reasonable set of rules, things should work out just fine. The ideas we think are worth keeping are important and a cornerstone really. If you don’t agree with that, there are plenty of other places to check out. A civil understanding between you the player and everything else be it the server, the other players, or the admins, is all we’re really asking for.
